Events

Happy New Year! We at Whitsons are excited to start another year of serving healthy and delicious food. We have a lot planned for students in this wonderful of month of January.

In our elementary schools, students will enjoy Safari Day: Safari Exercise Touchdown, Top Energy Foods that provide Fuel throughout the school day. Students will also get into the spirit of the Super Bowl and celebrate with healthy game time foods.

Our High School and Middle School students will enjoy our Smart Choices day choosing from a variety of their favorite foods. Our team will also be serving up Spice with our Savor the South menu filled with Southern favorites. 

To see more detailed information on school events, check out our "Menu"page and see “What’s cooking” on our delicious menus this month. You can download the menus and double-click on a day to see nutritional and allergen information for the day’s offerings.

Want to get more information about nutrition? Just ask a Whitsons Registered Dietitian. Whitsons’ team of Registered Dietitians will be available to answer all nutrition related questions from parents, students, faculty, staff and more in the “Ask the RD” forum!

Timberlane High School Introduces Sushi to their Menu

Whitsons Culinary Group is pleased to announce that on Wednesday, October 20th, Timberlane High School in New Hampshire will be offering sushi for the first time on their lunch menu.

The first sushi event at the school will be headed by Whitsons Culinary Groups’ Chef Ryan Hurley. Chef Hurley will be training his team, and together, they will prepare a few varieties of cooked, non-raw sushi dishes such as, California rolls, Vegetable rolls, Avocado and Cream cheese rolls, and Shrimp Rolls with Spicy Sriracha sauce. Over 100 portions of sushi are expected to be served. The success of the event may lead to prepared sushi meals being offered to students of Timberlane High School on an ongoing basis.
