Brianna Theus, RDN, CDN holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from University of Saint Joseph. After graduating, she completed her dietetic internship through Western Connecticut Health Network in Danbury, where she completed over 1300 supervised practice hours in clinical nutrition management, oncology, foodservice management, diabetes management, long term care, retail and school food service. After completing the internship, Brianna sat for the dietetic registration examination and obtained her Registered Dietitian License. Her previous nutrition and culinary experience includes working as a Clinical Dietitian for Danbury Hospital and Western Connecticut Home Care, Sous Chef at Mothership Bakery and a Dietetic Technician at Center for Discovery.

Brianna is currently working as the Registered Dietitian for Whitsons Culinary Group at both Fairfield and Newtown Public Schools, where she works closely with the foodservice teams to provide nutrition education, allergy protocol and menu analysis resources, all while fostering Whitsons’ direction on child nutrition and providing wholesome meals to students. Brianna is passionate about food and nutrition and is determined to help the students in her districts develop the same love for food while creating healthy eating habits.
